2006 Junior Varsity Tournament Rules & Information
Rules:
**** Entry Fee $200 ****
We
will supply the baseballs.
All
games are 7 innings unless the ten run rule can be applied after 5 innings.
Flip
of a coin will determine the home team.
Junior
Legion rules will be in effect (American League, Pro Book)
Infield
will be allowed time permitting. The
high school field is available for teams to go practice on if they choose.
Trophies
will be awarded to the top two teams.
No
team will be awarded a trophy if it forfeits a tournament game due to lack of
players.
In
the event of a tie for places, the following procedure will be used until the
tie is broken:
1) Head to Head
2) Fewest runs allowed by each team
3) Most runs scored by each team
4) Flip of a coin
WE
WILL ATTEMPT TO RUN AHEAD OF SCHEDULE. IT
IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH TEAM TO MAKE SURE THEY
SHOW UP AHEAD OF TIME FOR THEIR GAMES.
